My name is Anubhav Deep and I am a Quant Developer , an open-source contributor, statistics enthusiast, blogger, pianist, die-hard foodie and an amateur-chef trying to have some fun in everything I do.
I like playing piano, solving puzzles, listening to rap music, hip-hop and always had a knack for solving real-life problems. I am always looking out for a role which is directly related to solving a problem.
I have joined JP Morgan Chase as a Quant Developer at Portfolio Research and Analytics division of Assets & Wealth Management division in Bengaluru, Karnataka. I am a part of the Quants team where we build models and algorithms to advise our clients on what investments to make having an AUM of 600 billion $. I am currently leading the Performance Attribution and Reporting of multi asset funds-of-funds portfolios and solely responsible for the computation engine. I also assist Quant Research in building computation methodologies.
Prior to JPMC, I worked as a Data Engineer at Shell in their APIs and Integrations Competence Center at Shell Business Operations, Bengaluru, Karanataka; where I develop ETL and integration solutions for various end-systems like Salesforce, SAP, Oracle, Azure etc with the power of Mulesoft. I also actively participate in Shell.ai and Shell.diy to understand and leverage the use of data and artificial intelligence to promote the Energy Transition and net-zero emissions goal of the company.
Prior to Shell, I was a Storage Engineer at Red Hat Inc. where I was mainly involved in hybrid cloud, kubernetes, operator patterns, orchestration and actively contributed in Openshift, NooBaa and OCS-CI. I also worked on supporting Openshift Container Storage on Google Cloud Platform, Amazon Web Services and Azure Cloud Storage..
I am a contributing writer for various publications on Medium like The Lean Programmer, The Investor's Handbook, Geek Culture and various other publications. I write about APIs, Blockchain, investing and leveraging technology to become a better self. You can check out all my blogs here!
I help the team at Big Business App build an application primarily responsible for generating B-Score for businesses which will help in building an ecosystem for trustworthy businesses. I assist the team with their UX/UI decisions, design the android app and webpage, help the technical team with cloud architecture and deployment best practices. I am a VM (Volunteer Manager) and an active community service volunteer or "Robin" at Robin Hood Army, which is a zero-funds volunteer organization that works to get surplus food from restaurants and communities to serve the less fortunate. I have worked on adding more and more restaurants to our fleet so that wastage can be minimized at the restaurant level and at the same time, more and more hungry bellies could be fed. Along with that, I teach at less fortunate kids at our academy and help them with school supplies as much as I can.
